To Joe or anyone,

We have searched the manual, and have not found this info....how many pulleys total are we allowed to use on the robot?

If they come from Small Parts then you are unlimited.
Exactly what type are you talking about Rope type??

You can use anything from small parts, but as far as the additional hardware list, you are only allowed to use 6 TIMING BELT pulleys, and no other sprockets,gears,or pulleys.

Up to 6 from any source in the world

- And -

As many as you can purchase from Small Parts within the dollar limit.

- And/Or -

As many as you can manufacture from kit materials or Small Parts materials up to the dollar limit.

Not to be picky but to make it clear, the only pulleys
that can be purchased any source in the world are
Timing Pulleys.

It still baffles me why FIRST put this particular genie
back in the bottle. I loved having the option of
getting gears and pulleys and sprockets, as many as we
wanted from any source we wanted. Ah well... ...maybe
next year?

Loosing sprockets from the additional hardware list hurts us because we can not get the ratios we have used for years from SPI, so I guess we have to have sprockets cut. Oh well.
