So for my 4th spotlight I personally feel like I could have made it a bit longer, especially since I picked such a peculiar team, I'm not really sure what happened.
But, I made a spotlight video for Team 341, Miss Daisy. Miss Daisy is a veteran hall of fame team that has been well renowned for their amazing amount of FIRST outreach. You can watch the brief spotlight here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvzegUJvi2M), and the other 3 spotlight videos I made are available under the same channel.

Cool video for a great team.
Two small corrections
-Most Pennsylvania teams compete in MAR, not New England.
-Daisy does compete in district events (winning 4/4 and the 2012 district championships)
-Daisy does compete in district events (winning 4/4 and the 2012 district championships)
Fun Fact: Every single official MAR event that 341's competed in, they've won. :yikes:

Next week I think it'd be cool to have a Texas team like 118 or 148..

I think it would be cool to see 111 done as well as a rookie team this year.

I vote for lesser known teams that should be better known like 2826 or 1662.

148..
I kid you not they were who I was doing next

Most of the "Lesser known" teams that I know are teams from the San Diego / Las Vegas area, and I didn't want to make it seem like I was only spotlighting teams from the Southwest. Considering that kind of is the point of spotlighting though I guess you're right so I'll try to switch it up a bit.

If you ever were thinking of doing some New England teams I would suggest 131, 228, 190, 125, 126, 1519, 195... (I could continue this list for a while but those are the most interesting teams)

The Midwest has a great selection with teams 234, 868, 111, 48, and many other perennially great teams.

It seems like spot-lighting has become a bit of a "thing" that people look forward to.
As such, if you wanted to get into lesser known teams, then it'd be a good idea to take suggestions about teams from folks and do the appropriate research. If you were so inclined, you could even work with some folks to develop spotlight videos for lesser known teams in other regions.
There is potential, you just have to let it go.

This is really awesome.
-2 Championship Titles
-Never lost a Dallas Regional
-Multiple appearances on Einstein
-Sustaining since 1992
A really good choice for next week!

With how good 1662 has been the last 2 years, I definitely agree.

I nominate 4814 for possibly one of the best rookie seasons in frc history.

I'd vote for a video profile on each Einstein team from the previous season. That will keep you busy for a bit :) Great job on these by the way.

I don't know, 4334 is a very big contender for that, alongside 4451 and who can forget 2056's rookie year?

Isn't it impossible to do a rookie for this year?
We don't know who they are yet so how will you get video and information on them?
Also I think some teams are easier to do because the information and video on them is more accessible.

I would recommend considering 2056 for a spotlight. They have some statistics that are literally ridiculous. Nice people too! ;)

4814 was alliance captain for the 3rd seeded alliance in curie, and was one match from taking the division title from us. If they had beaten us, my money would have been on them taking the gold, they had a phenomenal alliance. I can't think of any other team that has captained an alliance all the way to division finals their rookie year.

I actually had an idea for doing something like this, maybe after the 2014 season I'll do a "World Champions Special"
