Sweet! Wo does it generate the entire model or does it just use existing ones, but fit different gear sizes?

There is a part file for the gearbox plates. That part file then changes when you input your selected gear sizes into the JVN calculator and save it. Different gear sizes, and the needed hole spacing are then determined/accounted for.

In the end it will have generated/modified a gearbox plate, a representation for every gear, and and a dummy assembly like the one shown that shows how they would fit together.
