Assists

Hello guys , we have a question:
Is there any way to reset the opponents assists? maybe by bumping into there ball ?

On my first read of the game manual, the only way to reset ASSISTS that I found was by scoring the BALL in a GOAL.

CYCLE: the series of events that recur regularly, and each CYCLE begins with an ALLIANCE’S BALL being retrieved from the PEDESTAL and ends when a BALL is SCORED in a GOAL.

The glossary definition of CYCLE would indicate that in order for a cycle to end, the BALL is SCORE in a GOAL. You could always ask Q&A if you want though.
