FRC Spyder Data Source

Hello,

Our team is building a scouting application and would like to retrieve live score updates at competitions. FRC Spyder does this, but there is no mention of their source anywhere.

Is the data from http://www.usfirst.org/whats-going-on/, like this page (http://www2.usfirst.org/2013comp/Events/CMP/matchresults.html) for example, updated live or are there other sources to retrieve live match data from?

The page you linked is one way to grab scouting data. Another source is http://www.thebluealliance.com. I think they have an API.

We currently use The Blue Alliance but it doesn't provide live match updates (at least the last time I checked).

Our purpose here is to receive live score updates so that the scouts need to only track individual team data. So we want to know what is a source to receive live match updates from, like what FRC Spyder uses.
