What is this (https://frc-qa.usfirst.org/Question/201/is-there-a-rule-that-would-prevent-the-use-of-a-spring-type-accumulator-in-the-pneumatic-system) exactly referring to?
Some accumulators have a spring loaded plate in them that lowers the volume (and keeps the pressure the same) as air is let out. It makes it so that after your tank is half empty, you still have mostly full pressure. They're heavier though.
