Here's a 3D-Printable cRIO cover that will protect the cRIO and its modules. It sits comfortably on top of the cRIO itself and allows room for all wires and cabling to be connected to modules through the top. The cover allows for organization of wiring and allows for zip ties to secure all wiring in a bundle to the side. Here's a link to the thingiverse download: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:233663.

Thank you Cameron1986, this is amazing! We'll definitely use this idea for our own cRIO. Thanks for sharing!

Could you post a picture/screenshot of how this fits onto the cRio?
This is great, thanks a ton! Our electrical kids love it and we're probably going to print one soon. :D

Interested in how it looks on the crio could you post a screenshot or pic of it on the crio (or even a cad pic with it on there)? Looking at printing one for our team if it fits.
How about one for an eight slot cRIO?

You'll have to modify the part file for the different dimensions. The origional .ipt for inventor is here (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:233663/#files).

The cRIO cover fits snugly and allows for cables to be guided off to the side.

While more effort, you can download the student edition of Autodesk from their website for free. Then save as STL.
That being said, STP is a good file type to upload because both Autodesk and SolidWorks may use it (Others as well).
