Clean and nice looking robot! Is there a catapult under the ball?
Being completed 12 days early so that things can be bugged and drivers can gain experience is a huge advantage!

That's a cool looking robot!:D I can kinda see through the robot to the floor just above the battery. Did you guys mount your electronics upside down? That's something we're doing this year too.

Thanks, yes we have a pneumatic catapult under the ball

Thanks. Our electronics are mounted to the belly pan of our robot. The battery is approx 1 inch aboce the ground mounted upright at the back
What's the launch angle? That looks like it could be very easy to block any shots...

I think that most teams who try to block shots with their robot are going to have problems. The force of the ball would break parts or completely knock it over.

We have very steep launch angle. We haven't measured it yet but with the intake extended the defended would have to be approx 20 inches away. Good point though definitly would have to watchout on that

3008 will be in San Antonio Texas for the Alamo Regional, then back to Hawaii for the Hawaii Regional FRC. Thanks for the encouraging comments.

Very clean design, can't wait to see it in action at Alamo. Should also be nice and easy to inspect.

Congratulations on finishing your robot early this build season.
I had a chance to follow it the last several weeks, and the simple "Team 16"
inspired design looks great.
*We even borrowed their launch cylinders for several days as we waited for ours donated by teams 3666 and 144.
Good luck in San Antonio. We will be several hundred miles North in Dallas a couple weeks later.
