Okay so say a team makes it to St Louis what are the rules on improving/modifying/repairing your robot after a regional.

You put it back in the bag and zip it up :) Then if Championship is your next event, you will need to crate the bagged robot and have it shipped to St. Louis.

The 45 pound "Withholding Allowance" applies to Championship as well as Regionals, so you can bring in another 45 lbs of parts. We were able to completely change our climber at last year's Championship.

Gosh that kind of sucks 3 days of getting to play with your robot then they aggressively swipe your joy from your lithium grease soaked hands. When you say ship could you just throw it in the back of a truck or do you have to ship it?

You can take off whatever you want before you put it in the bag though. But you can only bring 45 pounds of manufactured parts to put back on it at worlds. This doesn't include off the shelf components in their out of the box condition, such as un-assembled gearboxes and motors. You just have to take the time to bolt those to your 45 pounds of mechanism/assemble them at the regional. Hope this helps.

You have to actually ship it. You need to make (or get) a crate, use the shipping labels provided, and you'll receive a time of pickup, at which you'll send the robot off.
