This is our team's Reveal but it is from before we perfected the robot, ergo the word teaser. We'd also like to thank Children of the Swamp for letting us use their field on Saturday!

Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsNYEIyRJWo

Thank you very much, it took a lot of effort and loss of sleep. But It was entirely worth it in the end! :D

Love the simplicity.

This is probably my favorite minimal concept design for low resource teams.
No pneumatics, safe launching mechanism , great range, lots of potential.

Nice work

Thank you all! I really hope to make it to St. Louis, it would definitely be an amazing experience I do not want to miss out on.

Are you guys just direct driving off of CIMs?

If you are referring to the shooter, then yes we are. It was originally going to be geared down to a 3:1 but we realized they were powerful and fast enough as they were.

Alright. We are running 2 CIMs out of a cimple box and then gearing it up to around 7400 RPM. Just wondering how the single CIM was working but it looks great! Are you able to go over the truss and have the human player catch it?

When I saw that first shot with your intake pushing the ball into the wheels, I said "oooooh."

The transition from intake to shoot is so smooth!

Fair to say you can expect some shot variability with differently inflated balls causing different compression?

Yes we are, we were astonished once we saw how powerful our shooter can be.

As a matter of fact the balls inflation has shown to be an important factor, but as long as it is inflated as they describe it in the video, it should be fine

Thank you! We were a little afraid that the intake would snap to lock the ball in the bot.
