After a great build season we are glad to show off what we have. Our robot this year is named after a member of our community that has MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome) and she didn't have an immediate family match for a bone marrow transplant. The ideal donors are males age 17-35 so to create community awareness about One Match (http://www.blood.ca/CentreApps/Internet/UW_V502_MainEngine.nsf/page/you_can_be_the_one_match_to_save_a_life), we named the robot after her. Luckily she found a donor and is now recovering.

Without further adieu, here is our video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n23QBTcky_g)

Looking great W.A.F.F.L.E.S., you had an incredible defensive robot last year with a talented and smart drive team. I expect you guys to be a force as an inbounding/defence robot this year. Its a role thats going to be crucial to many alliances, if you can get a truss shot working (looks like there might be space for it), watch out!

Just a note of appreciation for your team's work in support of the FLL community. I was reminded by the video list suggested after watching your reveal. Best of luck finding S.Y.R.U.P. to go with your Mackenzie at GTR East.

Thanks! The shooter was actually working prior to our practising, however it seems that it wasn't quite strong enough to hold up through a competition, and we had some teeth from a gear removed unintentionally. We decided to put away our one drill press that made the entire robot and we got one of our sponsors to CNC some nice new shooter parts. (The quality is noticeable better as you would imagine) The shooter should be up and running for practice day afternoon.

Thanks for the complements! Our team actually has Jr.FLL and FLL teams that we personally run, so we actually have students growing up with the team the whole way through. It's actually how many of our members got involved, coming from multiple successful Ontario FLL teams, moving up to FRC.
