Turned out very nice! Reminds me of a Pink + Simbot SS.

Set to be one of the best bots in MAR, if not THE best :)

Can't wait to see this beaut in person next week. It absolutely looks to be up to the standard I've come to expect from 2590.

Not to mention it hopefully won't have to repeatedly ram field elements to clear jams this year. ;)

I love more teams using a mecanum collector, that makes three or four I know of so far.

What advantage do the mecanums on the intake give you? Not sure I follow the thinking there.

Because the contact force vector on a mecanum wheel is off-axis, they can orient them in a way that it provides not only collecting force, but also centers the ball while doing so.

Along with this, we went with mecanums on our intake as an alternative to side-rollers on our intake; it really does make a difference when getting balls from not head-on angles.

Very impressive today at HHHS. I was especially impressed in the match where you guys lost one of the mechanum wheels off the top of your shooter and were STILL ABLE to collect and score the balls. Awesome, robust, solid machine!

And packaging that stupid cross roller was just too clunky for our intake geometry :(
