Sheet Metal Parts

Is there any way to fabricate a sheet metal part that has flanges which are offset from the edges of the face without it putting the small notches on the face like this (http://blogs.rand.com/.a/6a0115711b8d26970b01347fb03dd8970c-pi)? (Not my picture, had problems uploading one, but it's the same general idea) I don't need them, but I still want the part in the sheet metal generator so I can get a flat pattern, otherwise I would just use the bend tool in a normal part.

You should be able to change the bend position.
To get what you want, select the option so it places the bend outside of the face.
