I hope there are plans to insinuate this movie into the CMP event - as well as other 842 events this year.

The movie has had a name change, and had the release date moved back a bit...now it's due Jan 16th (smack in the middle of build season!)

but there is a new trailer...with a few seconds of robot content. Four FRC teams are represented here, if you don't blink :D

Bit Buckets' Tribble is at bottom left at 1:37

842 is easy to find. They built both Carl Hayden and MIT's robots and likely more.

Typewriter Repairmen isn't an FRC team, but their members mentor 842, 1726 and 4183. Their robot Not Bob is at 0:32 on the flyer.

What are the other two FRC teams? Where do they show up?

Cornell robot shown in the Submarine for a moment....built by a couple members of team 39. And in the same scene that we see the Bit Bucket's ROV, we also see the NERDS ROV to the right, being carried by folks in purple shirts.

Did you also notice the wiring? Or perhaps the Lack of it. All the wires look like they are taped to the DS. How that robot works who knows.:D

They did a very convincing messy wiring situation without wiring.

Learning how not build actual robots, but rather movie robots was pretty hard! We had to keep thinking, oh wait, this doesn't have to actually work....
