Just to let everyone know and FIRST, while watching a few of the matches from yesterday I noticed that the hot goal wasn't changing at the proper times. You can easily notice it here, when the first goal is Hot for almost all of Auto (9 seconds ish), and the other is Hot for the last second.

Very interesting. Wonder if it'll ever get to the point where they'll field fault and start again. That wouldn't be so bad as there are 13 discs a side to re-setup. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Aaron - can you quantify how many times this happened? Is it intermittent or every match?

Red's assists on the red goal also don't light up until a million years after possession in that match.
Things such as this seem to be happening a lot. Hopefully by Week 2 FIRST will have this figured out.

Here at Alamo on Saturday the hot goal has been appearing at least a second after the robots are enabled in auto. It has been noticeably affecting multiple robots with hot goal modes.

We have a 1.5 second delay in our vision, but many times that isn't long enough. We anticipated the problem but it simply isn't worth fighting with. Vision is off on our robot now.

I would definitely raise that as a separate problem. The hot goals are 100% autonomous, whereas the assist lights rely on a ref entering the assist.
Refs might not be able to mark assist as soon as they happen. If they are worried that a team is about to commit a foul, they may wait a few seconds to observe the match before they enter in the assist.
There is a general trend of timing issues. I have heard secondhand from a friend that the field system has some updates (new video display and other stuff), but also some new bugs. The match timing isn't a constant either. It's +/- 2 sec from 2 minutes, which isn't a huge gameplay issue, but it shows the field system isn't really realtime.

It took red forever to score the ball from auto mode. The cycle had not started, assists were awarded at the right time.

Same issue here. We've been delaying more and more and more throughout the weekend. Ugh.

It seems alot of week one events have been having problems. The one our team went to scout today had some of the same issues plus another that the pedestal wasn't always lighting up when it was supposed to. In one match a drive team was literally banging their hands on the plexiglass wall trying to get someones attention that they had scored. after a 10 second delay the pedestal was finely lit. After the match the field admitted it was their fault but did not replay the match.

Wow this is really embarrassing. I apologize to all teams involved in this match. Had I noticed this happened I would have stopped and replayed.
