No question, John. I have never seen a more inspiring robot.
It's a major award!
I didn't know there was an Italian FRC team...
I wonder how well this holds up against defense.

What would make this 10 times better is if their team all had matching pink bunny jumpsuits.

Those drivers need to be careful...that thing looks like it could shoot your eye out.

Don't give them ideas. :D

It's fragile, so probably not too well.

love this robot, we were right beside it and I really didn't wanna play defense because it was a practice match, but it drove pretty well!

This is the greatest robot ever.

Make sure that you pronounce that right, now--it's "frah-gee-leh". And don't lick any frozen flagpoles, regardless of how high the dares go!

No one stands a chance against this robot. GG. Done with Ariel Assist now. They won.

Warning, bad puns ahead:
It's got a leg up on the competition. It's so cool it put on shades. From team Magic Smoke comes a smokin' hot bot. Kay, I'm done.
Now, seriously, is that what their robot looks like, or is this a little joke? I say this, because the rest looks very professional and sensibly built.

As far as I could tell, it was serious, at one point they took of the lamp shade, so I'm not a hundred percent sure. There is also another robot with pretty much the same design but they have a real prosthetic leg kicking.
I'll tell ya what though, they've got to watch out for those icicles.

Remember the robot is built for the team.
I would presume that the team would of built a more competitive robot if they could of, but they have now built a robot that is memorable and fun. That maybe what they needed right now. PR now might help the team later.
I have as my desire that our robots that the kids learn new stuff, and if that might mean a less competitive robot, that would be okay as long as the kids are learning and inspired.

The first thing that came to mind was this is the Liberty Bell bot with its’ own ringer :)
dozer bot still takes the cake as the best bot ever.

I demand they receive a "Major Award"
It's indescribably beautiful! It reminds me of the fourth of July!
Now if they would move it a little bit to the right, just a little, it would be ...wonderful...
please, oh please, tell me they can make it light up. that would just make this full to the brim with awesomesauce.

Love the creativity...is it bad that the first thing I noticed is that they shot at the wrong goal?

I hope this team wins a major award.
Every time they miss you can hear the coach going... "Oh Fuuuuuudge!!!".
I don't care what rank they come in at. This is a total win.

Congrats to the rookie all star for the Arkansas Regional, team 5292!
Check them out in STL.
Um, don't you mean 5259 (http://www.thebluealliance.com/team/5259)?
Didn't have the pink bunny suit, but all of the team member wore pink bunny ears. One of our ambassadors was wearing a white bunny costume though. Got props for being close to Easter. There are quotes from the movie written on the bot, named RALPHIE. And the leg lamp lights up while in the pit. Oh yeah! The box we brought it in says FRAGILE. :)
As a Rookie team this year, we didn't get into the competition until the very last minute. I'm mean seriously, last minute. Very proud of our team for their creativity and hard work!!! Go Team Magic Smoke!!! AKA TEAM 5259

We actually hold up amazingly! Our robot might seem like a true lady, but she isn't even close to being fragile. All of her parts of welded in as well as having diamond plate as our initial holder for most of it.

that is exactly how it looks actually! When we go out on the field though, we remove the lampshade, high heel shoe, and curtains! This is to insure that our lampshade isn't damaged because she is a violent kicker at times as well as she kicks better without the shoe! While everyone else does look so professionally done, we just thought we'd have a bit of fun and incorporate a wonderful theme!

I saw this one in person. Definitely the most memorable FRC bot in my experience. The movie quotes on the robot were definitely fun to read before matches.
