Spectrum will be there again, it was a great event to train new drivers and show FRC to new team members.
Panthrobotics did a great job of hosting this event last season, if you're in the area I highly recommend attending.
DiscoBots will return to RSR in 2014, we enjoyed the event last year !
We're glad to hear that both of your teams are coming. Its going to be an exciting year. :]
KnightVision will be there once again! Not all that hard making the 10 minute trip down from EHS. We really enjoyed the event last year. Can't wait!!:D

2992 will definitely be returning, and I already can't wait. Panthrobotics put on an excellent event last year at an excellent venue. I especially look forward to seeing all those Texas teams that we will miss over here at Bayou due to Lone Star being the same weekend.

I can't say yet if 3666 will attend. Last year's date didn't work for our team but hopefully this year we can attend.
This is actually our first year to do multiple regionals which is quite amazing. Our team has really gotten excited about Ariel Assist!

364 is definately considering coming back this year. We're excited! The event was great for the new team members to get a feel of competition, and the event was outstanding (especially the jambalaya! :) ).

Definitely excited about attending again. This was such a great experience for all of our freshmen members.
Hi all -
If you are interested in volunteering at the RSR this year, you can go to our volunteer form at http://www.redstickrumble.org/volunteer/.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Rumble.
Hi all -
Just an update:
We currently have 3 teams registered for the event:
Team 2992 - The S.S. Promethius
Team 3337 - Panthrobotics
Team 4805 - the Robotic Warriors
We would love you add your name to the list. Also - there is a possibility that we will be adding a FTC field to the mix as well so if you have a FTC team looking for a chance to show off their bot, we will be able to accommodate.
Best -
Daniel
RSR Coordinator
Team 3753, the Bulahbots! will be at RSR this year!!!! So cool that there's an FRC event less than 10 minutes away!!
3991 is now registered!! Counting down the days.
***Important Update***
Hi all of you RSRers.
As of yesterday, we made the decision to expand the Red Stick Rumble to include both FLL demos as well as an FTC competition field. The maximum number of teams for each is 12 and will be using the previous year's game.
The cost of bringing JUST an FTC or FLL team is free. If you are registering an FRC team, you can also bring an FTC or FLL Team in as well for no additional cost.
Remember, early registration extends into June and then the price increases. You can register at http://www.redstickrumble.org.
We are also looking for all types of volunteers and you can register to help at the same address.
Hope to see you at the Rumble!
If there's any room (and any interest) DiscoBots and Rice University might bring our VEX stuff from either last year's game or the new one that will be announced in 3 weeks. That way all levels of robotics could be represented!!

Hey -
We'd have to check that out. As far as I know, FIRST has an odd policy regarding competing robot involvement - especially if we are using donated FIRST products such as the field.

I can confirm that 364 will be attending the Red Stick Rumble this year. Can't wait!
Its update time!
We now have six teams registered for the Rumble.
2992 The S.S. Prometheus
3337 Panthrobotics
3606 BearMetal
3991 KnightVision
4805 Robotic Warriors
5168 Guardian Angels
Did we mention that your registration cost includes some tasty Jambalaya on Friday Night? Also - we plan on having a few NEW DRIVER games where only rookie drivers can compete without it counting towards your qualification score.
We are looking for 26 more teams to join us. Plus - register your FTC team for FREE as well.

So the part for FLL Teams- Is it a competition with just the robot rounds? Or is there judging for awards?

If it would help to attract more teams, we'd be happy to judge for awards. We run a qualifier at the school already so it wouldn't be difficult. I've been thinking about adding awards to the FRC and FTC component as well. Thoughts?

Absolutely. That would make it a lot more fun for teams, especially if there could be more creative awards like best team uniform, best mascot, or best cart.

Spectrum is registered for Red Stick, can't wait to play with the teams we missed from not going to Bayou this year.
Ok...opinion time. If we were to offer a Chairmans Award summit, would it be better to #1 Host a panel Q&A, #2 Host a Workshop, #3 Host a mock Chairmans Award Submission for teams to practice?
