I was asked to make a pvc stand for our regional banner from 2010. Unfortunately I can't get a hold of the banner till this Thursday at competition. I am looking for either an schematic that someone made out of pvc to hold one banner, or the general measurements of the banner including the best pvc to fit through the holder at the top and the bottom.

All help would be much appreciated.

Banners are 3 ft wide x 5 ft tall. The width of the hanger should be a little bit more than 36" wide to fit easily, and something more than 5 ft. tall to be off the ground. 3/4" or 1" pvc will fit thru the top loop. 1/2" pvc might not be as rigid as you would like.

Did you use the grommets to hang it or the through hole at the top? If you used the through hole then what size pvc did you use? Thank you for the quick response, much appreciated.

There are no grommets in our banners. 3/4" pvc fits nicely, 1" pvc will also fit.

It also fits through 1 1/4" PVC, it is a little tight but once you get the PVC in, it works great.
