I know that there were several pre-season competitions. How did they go? what was the highest score acheived?

We participated in a competition here in Southern California and the highest score was just above 170. In only 1 of 24 matches did anyone try to balance 2 goals, and they failed (But they did get a standing ovation).

So how did your competitions go?

We went to three pre-season competitions...

in all of the competitions we went to, we were able to balance two goals on the ramp (with the help of other teams such as BUZZ and RAGE)

the highest score we had was 384 in one round. two goals balanced on the ramp, 8 small balls in one goal, 4 bots in the endzone and 38 seconds left on the clock.

It was a crowd pleaser :)

In Quincy, there was a score of 288. Nobody even tried to balance 2 goals during a match, but 121 did it during the practice rounds.

At the Wildstang invitational (teams 101, 109, 111, 112, & 664), the highest score was 192. The problem we had was that during most of the matches, a robot was broken, so one of the slots was filled by a semi-functional robot, or no robot at all. I believe we balanced both goals 2-3 times and a single goal 3-5 times. The last match of the day, we balanced both goals with only teams 111 & 664 on the field.
