Team 2485, W.A.R. Lords from San Diego, present our championship promotional video for Aerial Assist. 2014 marks our best season by far with our second regional win and many new awards. 2 Mini CIMs in a custom gearbox.

About 450:1, 3 stages in the gearbox and an final stage in the chain reduction. Tbh if I was going to do this again, I would probably gear it a little less to speed up the arm. It as more then enough torque...

Yep.... we found the first failure point if the arm is jammed up against something (accidentally crashed it into itself)...... Again if I was going to do this again, I would lower the reduction by a bit.
