What are everyone's opinions on the viewing areas that have been placed in front of each division? I like the idea, but I feel that the traffic cause by people moving up and down the stairs nearly constantly is quite a bit dangerous and is causing issues with anyone being able to see anything in the rows behind these areas every time they switch out.
When people were exiting the area, they occasionally obstructed my view of the matches while I was scouting.
The best thing about the Championship: the new team viewing areas. They are easy to get into and out of, and the view is better than down on the field.
The worst thing: people standing up and/or going up and down the steps during matches. For the love of god, when matches are running, please don't obstruct the view of others who are trying to watch them. It's only common courtesy.

Exiting was frustrating at Galileo because they blocked off the stairway at midfield for entering and exiting. Let teams edit from anywhere. Also, it seems like a fire hazard to put the barricade there like that to not let people exit.
While some people seemed to really appreciate the opportunity to be close for their team's matches, there were some things that I think could make it even better!
Maybe a reminder about the new process each morning and after lunch would be helpful? Many people seemed confused about who could sit there and when.
The signage - 'Team Seating Area'. That is not really descriptive of this special area. Isn't the whole dome a Team Seating Area?
Maybe something that says 'Upfront seating for teams currently on the field'. I think that gives those who chose that section a warning about the ongoing stair traffic, and gives some legitimacy to the new process.
Some people in our section were really frustrated that the middle stairs were blocked 4 rows up from the field. A sign at the top of those middle stairs explaining that you need to enter at the left stairs and exit to the right would be great.
Signs at the left entry and right exit point would be a good addition.
Things did get much smoother as more teams followed the process.

I will admit that I was skeptical at how well this would work, but things have actually gone fairly smoothly. This was the closest we've gotten to sit at any competition this year.
