Is there a way to make those posts show up on "Recent Activities" on the home page? thanks.

User cp, left side for "Recent Posts Config.". Scroll down until you find the forum and make sure its box is checked. I see 'em just fine.

It's showing up fine for me.

You can change your settings by clicking the config button in the upper right of the "Recent Activities" column.

thanks guys. Clarifications... I wonder how to make posts on that forum show up on recent activities by default for everyone. That forum seems to be different from most others. Users need to explicitly enable it on recent activity as you described.

If you want everyone to see it, post it in a different forum that is a default. Don't post off topic threads in the wrong forums though as they should just be moved.
