My wife so wanted to know how that bouquet was made when I showed her the pic earlier today. We didn't meet in FIRST, but she has accepted the fact, and even encouraged it, that she is a FIRST widow now. She is so jealous of the wedding venue as well...she wishes she had thought of that.

Yes, my wife Stephanie (Stephi Rae on CD) and I met mentoring Team 190 in college, and now mentor Team 1983 and run the GameSense show together.
5/8th of our wedding party were also FIRST alumni and mentors.

I actually got engaged to my future partner at championship this year. I'm leaving for the army in a few weeks so I had wanted to ask before I left, so what more perfect place than championship? Two completely different FRC teams too.

That's so great. Congrats and good luck out there.:D

First of all, I totally forgot that I posted these pics...hence the delayed response. One of my bridesmaids made these for the bridal party. I think they are called kirigami flowers, and they were glued and strung together with wire. I know that I would not have had the skill and patience to make all of these.

I know of a couple that met in college mentoring. They're both still mentors (of a different team now)
