Looks great, though I think you can easily turn it into a shifter (http://www.wcproducts.net/wcp-shifter-2cim/).

9.17 spread

Did you mean overall reduction?

Spread is the ratio between the low/high reductions on a two-speed gearbox.

9.17 would be a horrible spread for a drive gearbox. It would leave you with a low too low to use, and an unusable high speed. This is isn't a shifter, is it? (Don't have the ability to open the CAD right now...)

oops, yeah I meant reduction. It is single speed
