Hey,
It's two weeks away from the Beantown Blitz and I haven't seen any information about it. I signed up our team a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen a teamlist of who is going so I can confirm that we're in. Has anyone seen any information regarding this or other things like a schedule or load-in information? Thank you!

I know that confirmation emails were sent out a couple weeks ago, but other than that, I haven't seen anything.

As much as my team loved Blitz last year, we're not going to be attending, as the change in date conflicted with too many other commitments our team members had.
However, if the rest of the list is correct (and my counting is good), then everyone will get to play in eliminations!

Same here, we loved the event but we couldn't make the date work for us. Hopefully next year we'll get to return to one of the coolest events in New England.

Hey fellow Blitzers! (Is that a word?)
I will be hosting a NEMO meeting at the Blitz, 10:00-11:00 in the Club room, at the end of the arena over the load in ramp.
Need some ideas on how to grow your team? Fundraising issues? Lost a sponsor? Come get some suggestions on how to fill the voids. And updates on the YPP Program.

1073 will be attending with a skeleton crew, as most of our team is away for the weekend. Is anyone interested in teaming up to scout? We use a tablet based system so all the data is uploaded online so anyone can view and manipulate the data.

Rosie would love to join up with your team for scouting. We would love to be able to help you guys out as well as learn another technique for scouting

How did 2648 end up the #23 pick?
#stealofthedraft
And that #8 seed alliance looks fantastic as well. I'd love to watch that match video.

Various things were broken on our robot up until our last three or four matches so we lost all but one of our qualification matches so that probably helped.

Makes sense. I personally think your robot has been undervalued this whole year. A fantastic inbounder with an effective goalie stick who's not bad at trussing. Makes my picklist every time.

I agree. 20 will likely see you at River Rage. I'll be in Rochester by then.
You might want to consider coming to the inaugural Tech Valley Robot Rumble off-season event. It's being held at 3044's school in Ballston Spa, NY.

I really enjoyed the Beantown Blitz, you guys put on an amazing event.
Question: being a stats jockey I hated not following matches with the Spyder app. Do you guys plan on posting match stats?
Oh, also, I was curious if you guys hit your goal for food donations. It looked like you collected a good amount. :)

I'm not involved in the event planning, but I believe it's supposed to be October 4th.
There's an event page on TBA: http://www.thebluealliance.com/event/2014nytv
It's going to be held at Ballston Spa High School: 220 Ballston Ave
Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
When there's more information available, I or someone else in the area will let you all know on Chiefdelphi and information will be available on www.techvalleyfirst.org.
EDIT: There's a website with a little more information: http://www.techvalleyfirst.org/robotrumble/

Thanks to all the teams that came out for the Blitz!
Thanks to all the volunteers who worked the event and made the Blitz as smooth as silk to run!
The Blitz takes a lot of hard work to pull off, and a lot of people behind the scenes to get all the details right. With this years staff we were able to fit in 10 qualification matches for every team, a miniature mentor match tournament and a full elimination tournament!
We're excited to say this year we were able to host an official Kickoff event, District event and off-season event on Northeastern's campus.
We look forward to having everyone back again (multiple times) next year!
