Good luck with the event! Duluth is awesome this time of year, and it'll be great to spread off-season events outside of the twin cities. I can't wait to see the list of teams attending!

2175 is registered and excited to attend! Do you plan on webcasting the event, if not we have some new stuff for webcasting that we are looking to try out at some offseason events if we have enough students there to run it.

We would love your help in web casting the event. Thank your very much.

What equipment would you be bringing and would you need any help with any additional equipment you guys won't be able to provide?

Unfortunately, that's a very busy time of year for our team... we're hosting our own summer camp and prepping for the State Fair competition early next month (in addition to our ongoing Alpha/Beta testing program). I doubt we can fit in traveling up to Duluth as well.

857 might be interested in attending (I'd like to volunteer if the team doesn't come), but I have a question about hotel availability. Seems there is quite a bit going on that weekend (bike race, lawyers' convention, etc) and hotel rooms appear scarce and expensive. What are other traveling teams doing, and does anyone having lodging suggestions?

PS. If you're wondering, we live about 4.5 hours away.

The calcs are camping out at Jay Cooke State Park, about a 30 minute drive away. Hopefully the weather is nice in mid August.

It is a very popular time of year to be in Duluth... I would suggest looking for hotels in Two Harbors or Superior. Basically check the surrounding areas and you might be able to find something.

I don't know about the rest of 3883, but I'd be enchanted to go (and would even risk camping). I'm also excited to see what 2175 has in terms of webcasts. :D

Duluth is a very busy that time of the year and this was actually the best weekend we could have. Duluth has a few hotels and probably some motels you guys can stay at. There are probably a few campgrounds you can stay at that aren't too far away that you guys can stay at.

If you guys decide to come would you like me to private message you, or even just post for other teams that would stay the night, hotels or camping grounds that teams can stay at? This early I won't know if these hotels are opens or campground are available during that weekend but you guys can also reserve spots where teams can stay.

The official match schedule is now posted on our website: daredevils2512.org (http://www.daredevils2512.org)

The doors will open at 7 on Saturday, we will have practice time before the opening ceremony, and we will also have a practice field for teams to use. However, we are in a shortage of balls. So, if your team could bring all of the balls you had it would be greatly appreciated. Since were having a full field as well as a practice field we need a lot of them, so if you could borrow some from any teams that would be great. At this point it would be better if we had to many rather than not enough. If you could let me, or my team, know how many your bringing, and what color they are that would be fantastic!

Don't forget about the link for the webcast! Tell all of the teams you know, so they can see this great event and considering coming next year. See you at the competition :)

I will be avidly watching and commenting from Twitch! It will be a much more riveting event than Fish Plays Pokemon for sure.

So with the off season even coming to a close, does anyone have any requests or recommendations for next year's competition? We are planning on continuing this competition for many years to come and would love to make it a better place to compete and come together.

If you were unable to come and wish to make recommendations for making the event more accessible for you, feel free to post it. We would love all of the feedback.

First suggestion would be timing... A lot of teams couldn't be there this weekend due to the conflict with the State Fair (robots were dropped off last week!), and in fact I know a couple of teams dropped out of the State Fair competition to attend yours - It would be much better for everyone to avoid having these events conflict!
