i just checked the FIRST website... the last team number is 716.... is it a bad thing that my song #716 is Bruce Springsteen - Born In The U.S.A.??
Yes, i have that many mp3s :) (5093 to be exact... very few repeats, 19.2 gigs)

wow...5093...thats impressive
i thought my 1028 was a lot
I see team numbers wherever I go. I can't see a 47... anywhere.... without thinking of Chief Delphi. The weirdest thing is when my computer decides to load the CD page at 47k/sec...
anyone else see FIRST numbers all over the place?

my winamp pooped out after about 4000 songs.
had to reduce it to 1000 to get any functionality out of my P3 450 w/256MB ram

My dad is the biggest '47' nut. Last night, while watching tv, he blurts out ... "Look... 10:47"

I think I may be the only FIRSTer who has less than fifteen MP3s. Then again, I have like 200 CDs, about half of which are just filled with MP3s I've burned to CDRs then deleated from my computer.
The whole thing about seeing FIRST numbers anywhere, it's totally like that for me. I went to one of those 2000 flavors ice cream places and about died laughing when my favorite flavor (mint chocolate chip) was flavor number 180. I told one of my team mates about it and she walked away laughing. It's the same way for me if I see something with Delphi, Spam, or hyper on it. I just instantly think of the people I know on the teams. It's crazy.
I can't exactly think of any song by the classic "Spam song" from Monty Python and the Flying Circus that you should put as song number 180 on your playlist for my team. I've heard it so many times I'm sick of it (Thank you for Team 375 for following us around, singing it to us all the time at nats). I guess that song is very appropriate.

Jeff Wong I never thought I could use 194 gB, and I was right. Of it, only ~17 have been used for MP3's. I still dunno how many I have on here, as I only listen to ~100 of them.
Back when the song was new, Who Let The Dogs Out was our team song because it went perfectly with our logo --our logo is a Bull Dog.

I have 97 mp3s. I had close to a thousand before my last format/reinstall, but I realized that I never listened to them so I let them go.
I have 43 gigs of hard drive space total, with 11 gig free.

Friday night into Saturday morning I was in Bridgewater, MA pulling an all nighter with Lee before Mayhem...suddenly I looked at the clock and it was 2:22 am...so I said the first thing that came to my mind - "Hey, the Tigertrons! They're coming to Mayhem from PA!" ;)

You know, I didn't think Aphex Twin was really known at all, and the only song I've heard by them is Milkman. I'm at work right now, so I don't have my playlist, so I don't know what my team number would be. But, I just want you all to know, that I feel pretty silly, considering I only have about 300 songs (about 1 gb) because my hard drive is only 3.3 gb. Yes, my computer is as old as the hills. And as far as how much room I have left, hmm...about 250 mb. Yep, time for a new computer.

Everytime I was watching the web broadcast of the competition, I was always in one of the chat room with the other FIRST people watching and talking about the matches...
And I always ask them, "What's the name of this song~?"
You see, I have no clue about these songs, and I dying to get my hands on the play list... Well, not really dying, but it will be really nice if I can see what kind of songs people like. So I can actually know something about the favorite songs of the people...
Anyone know where I can get the play list? Oh yeah, and where can I search for the lyrics of those songs?

Some good lyrics sites are www.lyricsplanet.com, http://lyrics.astraweb.com, and a good lyrics board is www.lyricfind.com

www.lyrics.com (http://www.lyrics.com) is another good database of song lyrics. unfortunately it is down or cant handle everyone who goes there quite frequently. if it does load, however, its pretty good.
