I try really hard not to speak for my family, but Dean's not gonna do it (http://www.slingshotdoc.com/). Sorry.

Before everyone freaks out, keep this in mind. His life's work is in medical devices & he's plenty philanthropic as a human being, so it's not like he's just ignoring these important causes. As should be pretty obvious from the SlingShot project, he hates wasting water. Plus, quite honestly, social media presence is something he sees as pretty unnecessary.

It's just not gonna happen. At least, not in the traditional way.
(Yes, he's been challenged already, and his staff asked him. The answer was no.)

We discussed his work on slingshot, and the fact that he wouldn't want to waste water before we put out the challenge, but thought challenging Dean would still be cool as he may find a way to meet the challenge in a unique way that may avoid wasting water. We also tried to find info and see if he had already done the challenge just to make sure it hadn't already happened. Thanks Libby K for giving us a little more inside information.
