Does anyone know if the "standard" drawer slides from McMaster-Carr are legal?

I think rule <R04.c> under parts and materials covers it, but I want to make absolutely certain.

If you want to be absolutely certain, post on the FTC official forums. The best Chief can give you is an informed opinion (which I'm happy to give).

Based on you cited rule (which I'm assuming is the one that allows COTS parts with a single degree of freedom), and last year's rules (which explicitly allowed drawer slides), I would say they are most likely perfectly legal this year, based on the rules and prior intent.

Yes, In part c. of that rule, it has it typed out, "Assemblies of COTS components, such as linear slides, and gearboxes are allowed"
