Rookie team here.

When is the exact time for the kick off video and does anyone have a link yet. Thanks for helping us out.

www.TheBlueAlliance.com also has a countdown timer and link to a live stream on their homepage.

As a rookie team I would highly recommend going to a kickoff location. There is often good information there and many other teams to talk to.

I second this. We weren't officially a rookie team last year (resurrected team), but we were a team of rookies :D . Going to a kickoff event really gets everyone ready and excited for the new game, and is a great opportunity to meet other teams. A local team, 2337 EngiNERDS also had training/support there so that inexperienced and rookie teams/team members could learn how to start building the KoP chassis, putting together a control board, and start programming in LabVIEW. I don't know about your kickoff location, but it's possible to find similar help there. It's a good experience, tons of fun, and you can learn a lot.
