I'm going to bring up the time delay bonus points again due to the three-day delay between posts here.

The original proposal:


(I will take the time now to propose an amendment to the rules, such that if there is a >12 hour gap between posts #14 and #15 on the same page, a 100 (or other suitably large number) bonus is awarded to whichever team breaks the silence. It should help keep the flow of the game running more smoothly, as nobody will want the other team to have a shot at those points.)

It has been suggested that 50 points would be more reasonable than 100. Any more thoughts?

I think this game runs at its own pace. We could implement the bonus but it could also become another way to get extra points.

Anyone who looks at this thread should post no matter what will happen scoring wise.

I made a poll to get a good idea of where it stands. Assuming that the majority votes yes then we will include that bonus.

I support the idea of a 50 point bonus for finishing a page whenever it's been more than 12 hours since the previous post. Are we arbitrarily going to implement this? Any sort of vote is going to be difficult to do

A new additional bonus of 45 point for a total of 50 point for the post that,
Breaks the silence of 16 hours or greater between the 14th and 15th post of the page
Any bonuses posted before 16 hours have passed should be completely ignored including the normal 5 points. This is here to hopefully deter cheating.
