Our team uses a cRio on a exhibition robot that fires t-shirts at sports games. If we update to the new packet for LabVIEW that came in the kit of parts will we be able to code for a cRio? If we could I would love to wipe our old computer because it's not working to well.
LabVIEW 2015 and the 2015 FRC LabVIEW software can target 4-slot cRIOs, but not 8-slot.
Our team has four 8 slot cRIOs. Am I correct that last years version of labview expires at the end of the month? Are these cRIOs useless after that, without learning java or C++?

Last year's version of LabVIEW is not supposed to have an expiration date.

The LabVIEW for FRC 2014 license does not expire. If you're having trouble activating it, I'd recommend contacting NI's FRC Support either by phone or on the NI forums. https://decibel.ni.com/content/community/academic/student_competitions/frc
