We hooked up a mecanum drive train to a couple of different vehicles. I didn't know where to post these but if anyone is interested.

I was a little dissappointed you didn't daisy chain the Nissan and the Jeep. :)

Big fan of Nissans! That's a lot of torque !

What gearboxes are you using to get that much torque?

They don't have that much torque. The wheels have broken traction and are free-spinning when the cars start to move. The cars are in neutral and once they start moving, it doesn't take a lot of effort to keep them moving.

Was the ground level?

Gear it down to 2fps and add another 100 pounds.

Well at least now I know that my Nissan can be pulled by a robot. Haha, might help if I get stuck outside our robotics center this winter.

We are using toughbox minis with a CIM motor in each

That's crazy. Bookmarking this as proof that mecanums have torque.

The Ground wasn't very flat but it was level.
