Wiring 12 Motors

We want to use 12 motors (4 - MiniCims, 4 - Cims, and 4 - BaneBot 755) for this years robot. However we have not used this many before and not sure where to wire them all because there is only 8 ports in the PDB for 40 Amp.

Can we use the 30 Amp ports to wire? Also we are using talons for our motor controllers.

While you can use the 30A fuses, just make sure your applications don't draw more than 30A.

Also, 12 motors is a lot. Expect heavy battery drain! Also be aware of what happens to motor outputs when the roboRIO drops below a certain voltage.

Edit: Also check rule R37 and R38 for proper wire gauge and motor controller rules.
