Just wondering...........
Let's say that the Blue Alliance sets a stack of 2 yellow totes on the center step for coopertition points. Is it legal for a robot from Red Alliance (with an internal stacking mechanism) to grab those 2 yellow totes, create a stack of 4 yellow totes (2 of which are already inside the internal stacker) and place the assembled 4-stack on the step for full Coopertition Stack points?

There are no rules prohibiting this.

Yellow totes score on Auton and/or coopertition stack only (as far as I read the rules).
Even if it is allowed, would you rather have 40 points for coopertition or 4 to 12 points by stacking (assuming you can stack more higher than 4 tores)?

I believe the OP is referring to placing the yellow totes back on the step as a stack of 4, not on a scoring platform.

Thanks....that was exactly what I meant.

As long as you do not interact with anything beyond the step, and you get at least 4 on the step, there is nothing against this strategy.
--deleted-- read the rule wrong.
