It seems like lots of robots are having problems, but it's really hard to tell from the webcast exactly what's going on.


The Lone Star regional has almost caught up with Great Lakes (in terms of matches played), and Lone Star started an hour after great lakes!

Am I the only one noticing 2056 seems to be having pretty serious issues in the last couple matches? I'm not sure what to make of it. It looks like they're still moving, kind of, so I'm not sure its a communications issue.

Also: Bravo 1325 so far on giving 1114 and 2056 a strong run for their money.

Still fairly confident 1114 will seed first still. They have a solid second last match. 2056 won't catch up probably.

1325 can cause some serious havoc if they manage to stay first seed at the end of quals tomorrow. Should be interesting. :yikes:

yeah if 1325 can split up 1114 and 2056 it could end 2056's regional winning spree (they never lost a single regional) and that would make a lot of noise

Looking like you might be right. I missed 1325s first match this morning, but the field doesn't seem to have posted any of the match results to the web for matches played today, but is updating the rankings. Odd.

Based on previous tournaments, I'm pretty confident that was a strategic decision by the #1 alliance. It enabled them to tether two human loading ramps to 4903.

Worked too, considering they won [Congratulations 1114, 2056 & 4903]. And the streak lives on for another year.

From what I read, the simbots (and other teams) were having networking issues during the practice day and that wasn't resolved until after the beginning of quals it seems.

I was the scorekeeper at this event and I can tell you that we had many issues with field connectivity to begin qualifications. We ended up replaying 5 qualification matches because of those issues and fell behind over an hour on Friday while the FTA's worked with FIRST HQ to resolve the issue. However the match 1114 missed in Qualification 1 was not believed to be caused by the field since no other team was having the same type of issue connecting for that match or later matches until they came out again. The issues we were having were during the match after everyone had connected where many teams on the field lost connection during the course of the match.

They are not currently up yet but they should be up soon. They are usually up just after a regional but the latest ones are taking a while for some reason. the livestream is still up on the homepage so you may be able to find the full event there.
