I was sent an email from the Sales staff on Jan. 23 stating that 6" Omnis (and Colson Live Hubs) were on order and would not be in stock until February 15...so which is it?

I really don't want to pay $70-$100 EACH from AndyMark (thanks for that, btw).

I was given the same expected date of February 15 for the 6" Omnis last week.

VEXpro should have limited stock back available for sale on/before Feb 15th. After these are out, we will not have bulk stock available again until April.

This includes:
217-2585 6" Omni
217-2586 6" Mecanum - Right
217-2799 6" Mecanum - Left
217-2898 6" Mecanum Set (2 Left, 2 Right)
217-3430 Colson Live Hubs

We greatly appreciate your patience. We are also experiencing the same Port of LA delays and weather delays across the country, but working hard to ensure we get teams as many parts as we can, as quickly as possible.

I was given the same expected date of February 15 for the 6" Omnis last week.

Our lead mentor called Vex yesterday afternoon to confirm the expected date. He was told that the 6" Omnis would not be available for 'several months'. I cannot explain the conflicting information.

What omni wheels are you looking at from andymark? The 6" omni appears to be $28 each.

Just to be clear: it's not really my team I'm concerned about currently. I called Vex to see about availability for mecanum wheels because we might want a couple spares. The salesperson said availability would be "after the end of the FRC season". I said, "April or May, then?", and he said "right". I am not ragging on Vex at all; clearly, they had no control over the huge demand for this particular product this year, and are subject to the same market forces as anyone.

I am going to start a new thread to see if teams might want to create a wheel sharing program. We might have a few 6" omnis we could swap with a team that needs them, for example.
