Team 1448 decided to have a little fun during the build season and decided to make a parody musical video of Bohemian Rhapsody about FIRST! Check this out, as it is planned to be played at the Oklahoma Regional our team will be attending. Enjoy!

The timing is precious. Just last night, we wrapped up our build session with all the students (and me) singing Bohemian Robotsy. We also had a bit of "plywood guitar" from atop the science lab tables.

This is probably the best FRC parody song I've ever heard, and above that a really well done song in general. Very talented, they should play this at every event.

Amazing! This may be the first time a team earns a berth to IRI just to be seen in the talent show :rolleyes:

(BTW, it's Worlds, hasn't been Nationals for years)

We're trying to get it played at every regional if they'll let us! Thanks everybody for kind the words! It was definitely a challenge but a lot of fun

It would be great to get Brian May's comments on this. He studied math and astrophysics and served as Chancellor of a university in the U.K. until recently.

Whoa, you guys did great on this! Those vocal notes were hit pretty dang well, and the overall quality of the audio and the video is amazing. :)

Do you have a link to the original that I can download?

Tried several tools to rip it from youtube, but they all have a couple audio issues that I'm sure weren't in the original edition

I will be the GA @ the Rock City Regional and would LOVE to play it there next week!

Played at Lake Superior Regional, and I presume it was also played at Northern Lights (double regional in Duluth, MN).

Yes it was played at Northern Lights on Saturday at the beginning of opening ceremonies. Very well received.
