Transport Configuration

My team was wondering if we would be able to use a hinge system to keep the arms within the required transport configuration. Our plan would be to bring the arms down once the robot was placed in the arena. Would that be okay to do?

As long as it can be set to/from transport configuration within the allotted 60 seconds to come off or come onto the field, you should be ok.
