The Team Update that came out on 2-17-15 calls for another driver station software update. It isn't announced at the top of the Update, but the rules have change to require version 08021500 to be loaded before competitions.

Just what teams need on Bag and Tag day! Hope you didn't miss this update.

That is just correcting the version # from the last Update first announced on 2/10/15.
It'll read 08021500 or 09021500 depending on which side of Greenwich your team lives.

Also keep in mind that this doesn't need to be done before your robot goes in the bag.

You just need to make sure you have this update installed by the time you get to your competition. I'm guessing most teams aren't bagging their driver station, so it shouldn't be difficult to do in the 1+ week between bag and your first competition.

I thought it was odd that the displayed version number didn't change in the title bar. You have to look at the diag tab.

In looking at the DS I installed last week, its version already says 09021500. So its good to go.

Where do I find this update? I can not find it anywhere that I look. I looked on NI, Technical Resources, and searched it on here. I can not seem to find it.

Where can we download the required roboRIO firmware update from?

EDIT: I'm confused. The required roboRIO firmware isn't the one that was released on kickoff, but there wasn't a manual update indicating this. Is this correct?

The page may be written in a confusing way. roboRIOs arrived with with version listed there as "kickoff" installed. The required version has always been what's installed with the NI Update Suite.

Thanks, I was getting worried that we'd totally missed it.
