Awesome! Have you guys practiced getting totes from the chute if they land on their ends? (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133091&highlight=totes+landing)

Yes we are able to pull them back to the right side. We can't show everything in video right? ;)

It looks like a tank drive with 4 omni's on the outside, am I right Ronnie?

Took you long enough to finally finish ;) Love the robot, Ronnie. I'm sure we'll be seeing some high scores with it.

Totes will definitely be landing on their ends on the real field. Hopefully your solution for that won't hurt your cycle time too much!

I hope we have one too:cool: but in about 1,000 totes, none have landed on end...

That may be the case on your field, but totes were consistently landing on end on the official field at Week 0 here in NH. Just something to be aware of.

Is there archived video up of matches? We knew they would, just didnt know how often. It was hard to replicate the effect, was very easy to set on its end and try picking up.

Hello from your neighbors in Lapeer!
Looks like you guys produced a killer robot. I love that blue powder coat. Would you be interested in elaborating on your drivetrain, or is that to stay a secret?
Can't wait to get on the field with you at Kettering!

Its not that secretive. Just another set of wheels that turn it into a non typical 6WD. Come over to the pits at Kettering and check it out! We did all the powder in house, it was an awesome learning experience, turned out awesome!

If you go to about a minute in this video it shows what we are talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1-3u9NEeO4
Just something to keep in mind. I see this as the number one factor for most teams first events that will keep them from scoring quickly.

I love the overall look of the robot. It's very appealing to the eye as well.
