Is anyone staying near the Edgewater (3 miles up the lake from the Convention center) and getting to the regional early (7 to 8am)? RI's will probably need to report early for load-in, and I would appreciate a lift on Thursday.

I'm with DNA Robotics, a local team. Its a little out of the way but not too bad so if you can't find another ride I can help you. PM me if no one else if coming from further east.

Richard - while we'll need a few at each event helping with load-in early, if you can't find a ride over before hand don't worry! We usually have plenty of people available for it. We will be doing on-site training for inspectors about the time the pits open (at least, that's usually when we manage to get everyone together to do it), so show up at least a little before that if you want breakfast! See you in a few days!

Thanks Jarrid and Jon. That gives me a little more flexibility to bum a ride.

The Load-in group from my will be there, but I don't think they have room in the car (5 of them). The rest of the team doesn't arrive until Noon.

Yes. Thursday is the busy day for RI's to clear all the teams for inspection. Before pits open, the RI's also clear the teams to unbag.

I would say yes as I'm only a mile away, ONLY I have to take an exam before the regional on Thursday and wont be down there till 11 :(

My personal vehicle isn't the cleanest but I can get you there by 8am on thursday.

I can do it. I live up by UMD so I'll pretty much be driving by the Edgewater as I head in about 7:00 on Thursday morning.
