So Im an idiot. We have wrong version of DS code on our DS. I missed the update info on ScreenSteps. Is there a twitter feed or email list or blog where I can get update notices?

Team Updates always notify you of updates. You can also check here for revisions: http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/4485/m/13503/l/305566-current-software-revisions

What exactly do you mean by "team updates"? I know about the screensteps page...just forgot to check it.

On the same page (http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/competition-manual-and-related-documents) that you go to access the game manual, you will also see a "Team Updates" PDF which contains changes to the game/admin manual.
