This is probably my favorite robot to ever be built by Team 696. I love the swerve drive and I can't wait until LA to see it in action.

This thing is gorgeous, I love all the welding work you guys have done, and the disk brake is just pretty. Best of luck this season.
Very Elegant robot and I love the swerve design with the cut gear.

Beautiful work again 696! Last year at Chezy Champs was the first time I got up close to a 696 machine and its hard not to be blown away by how much work you guys put into even the smallest details.

Thank you. Unfortunately we will not be competing at Las Vegas. This year we are competing at Los Angeles and Ventura.

I could have sworn I had seen you guys on the list. Were you guys on the list originally?
It is very disappointing not to be competing with you guys. Congrats on another quality robot and good luck at the competitions you attend!

I could have sworn I had seen you guys on the list. Were you guys on the list originally? We were originally scheduled for Las Vegas but changed yo Ventura. Registration this year was tricky and hectic, but we're looking forward to two excellent events in Ventura and Long Beach.

And they said we weren't allowed to have pretty numbers this year...
Seriously, you've outdone yourselves yet again. That is one beautiful robot, which I hope to see in person at Champs.

Seriously, you've outdone yourselves yet again. That is one beautiful robot, which I hope to see in person at Champs. Thanks for the complements. Unfortunately, we'll most likely have to remove the number plates in this photo, as they are absurdly heavy. We have created replacements made from black vinyl applied to 1/16" thick white delrin.
Also, the swerve drive was something completely new for us. We've never built nor programmed one before. And for years, we've said we'd never do it. But, after evaluating the game, the rules, and our resources this year, we figured this would be as good of a time as any for a swerve drive. So, we did it, and I think it turned out rather well. We'll see how it performs in competition.
Another beautiful robot. How do you manipulate/use RC's?
Do you guys have the swerve drive module CAD files? I would really love to have a look at them :3
