We love the safety videos that all the teams put together, but wanted to create something a little more sassy. It wasn't entered as a safety video, so you won't see it anyplace but here. Let us know what you think.

We DARE you to watch and not have the tune stuck in your head! :p

From our team to yours...Enjoy and feel free to share!

Whoever sang the song can sing pretty well. Their voice has a Regina Spektor type of feel. Overall, it's a pretty good video. Nice work!

(I must hang my head in shame!)

I forgot to mention that the "Tesla Lightning Guy" you see in the video is our new mascot Volt. We will have him with us in St Louis & Knoxville. He will be leading our chant... "Twenty-seven eighty-three, We are EOT!"

Adorable video, love that the animation is in time with the music. And the singer has a lovely voice. Nice job!

If i were judging safety animations, this would win.

Counting how many of these happened during the one year I was on 2783 (2011)...

I counted 3:

-The loose battery: I remember being the fool who forgot to fasten the battery to one of the demo chassis (basic kitbot made for assembly demonstration). I (or somebody else) was trying it out, and the battery was lanched like a discus. No harm, no foul.

-The supermagnets. I won't give details here, but we used them for the minibot... and a certain mechanical student who for his sake (and my sake as we're college buddies still) shall be nameless had a ER trip or two due to mishandling. ::ouch::

-The locked door: that was more of a bad luck thing... but I remember having to circle the warehouse to find an unlocked door one day... we did find one, luckily.

Nice video!
