What's the big red button for? Are you using all of those buttons?

That's only 11 buttons; one of our early UI designs had about that many. We eventually simplified so we can get it on an xBox controller.

My guess (not that I think I'm right, but just making the point that you can use this many buttons) is that the five white buttons are for lift levels, the big red is cancel or all stop, lower right is "score" (lower the lift until it disengages, possibly sensed by current draw), lower left black is pick up a tote, top black is pick up an RC, and the greens are to place those pieces atop a tote, and maybe pick up the bigger stack.

You are pretty close, I didn't think of "score" as a button, but now I might make that a thing, which would be opening both of our grabbers to release the stack.
The white buttons are levels. but a bit different. We programmed them for auto stacking. for example the bottom button will go to tote level 2 and drop down to the bottom tote and go back to level 2. second button does the same thing but for 3 to 2. the third button just lifts the totes to the level of the coop stack with one tote already on the step. the green and black buttons are for Manuel up-down on the elevator and in and out on our intake. The big red button is to open the intake because it fits in the palm really well and be able to reach the rest of the buttons. There are 2 more buttons around the side. one is a rocker switch for switching elevator speeds and the other opens our second grabber.

Some may have missed the humor, but as a geologist, I truly appreciate the "banana for scale" reference. Thanks!

Also in case you missed it, bananas were used as scale objects on the field build assembly plans this year. See if you can find them all!

Wow, nice and slick driver station. I'm loving the big red button.

Yeah, that's the "Easy" button, right? We need one of those as well.

Is that an FRC Standard Banana or an ANSI Standard Banana?

It's only an FRC Standard Banana if it meets all the rules in Section R and has an inspection sticker on it!

You probably think this is a joke, but I understand that the EU forbids "abnormally curved bananas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_Regulation_%28EC%29_No_2257/94)".
