I'm excited to compete at a regional event again since NE went to districts, albeit Tech Valley not being the largest regional there is, but a regional nonetheless.

5030 is excited to compete again at Tech Valley. The regional was great and helped a new team feel at home.

5254 is very excited to be going to Tech Valley in addition to Finger Lakes this year.
The MidKnight Inventors are so excited to come to Tech Valley!
This is our first time out of our local region since 2010 (not counting Championships, of course) - I think our students are really excited to meet some new teams & see some old friends. :)

Congratulations to CyberKnights 195, Greater Rochester Robotics 340, and Electric Mayhem 4930, on their Regional Win! The number 2 seed.
195 from Southington, out of district and doing much better than Waterbury (26th). For once, they did not partner with their BFF's, the Rocketeers 20, who they beat in the finals. Must have been a tough choice.
195 choosing 340 warmed my heart as here is another team that does so much in their community and lives and breathes FIRST.
Electric Mayhem won the Rookie All-Star Award at FLR last year, and I think 340 may have made this for them:

Correct if I'm wrong, but this Regional win is very sweet indeed for all three teams on the alliance.

Actually 1511 made this crate for all the FLR RAS teams! They keep a running list on the side of the crate year after year -- it's really cool!

I knew that some team made crates for awesome rookies.
I apologize for my misattribution.
Rolling Thunder is a great team that will be competing with 340 next week at FLR.

On behalf of those from Team 20, I would like to thank our awesome alliance partners 5254, the Robot Raiders, and team 3624, the ThunderColts for some fantastic elimination matches. Really great way to end the day- and to 3624 good luck at the Long Island Regional, and to 5254, we hope to to be on the same side of the glass again at Finger Lakes.

I'd like to echo everything Audrey said- I don't know how we managed to get such an amazing alliance as the 5th captain. 5254 was an absolute steal, and 3624 was the perfect compliment to our machine for TVR playoffs.
I'd also like to congratulate our good friends on 195, 340, and 4930 on their regional win. It was an incredible set of elimination matches, and with all our ups and downs, your alliance was the constant sitting at the top of the average score rankings match after match. I have to say, it was weird seeing 195 and 20 on opposite sides of the glass for once.
Both the Chairmans Award and the Engineering Inspiration Award went to incredible new faces for the capital region- 1111 and 1923. Congratulations, and thank you for everything you do for your communities and FIRST.
Speaking of 1923, Libby Kamen received a well deserved Woody Flowers Finalist Award Friday evening, and I wish you luck, as well as your now-qualified team, at the championship event.
To the top-seeded alliance of 303, 2852, and 4203, I was astonished at what happened in your last semifinal match. If 303 hadn't lost communications when they did, they would have made it to finals over us. Even with the significantly lower score they put up, they were only 2 totes away from going to finals anyway.
After that match, I was ecstatic that my team was going to finals, only to realize momentarily that I was cheering and yelling at your alliance's expense, and only because your alliance had unfortunate issues.
I'd like to apologize for that as best I can, but can you really blame me and my team? We were going to finals, after we had just given up all hope. I also feel bad for 4203- an amazing third robot who could have done well at the championship event.
Thank you everyone who made the 2015 New York Tech Valley Regional a success, and I'll see about 1/4 of you next week at the Finger Lakes Regional!
Thank you everyone who made the 2015 New York Tech Valley Regional a success...
I'd like to make a quick shoutout to the two Volunteer of the Year award winners: Nancy Casler of 2791 and Brett Brimhall of 20. I don't know of two more deserving people for this award. Thanks for all of the work that you do.

I want to echo Jack. I don't know either of the two very well personally, or the extent of their outreach, but I do know that they make the FRC tech valley region look good. Really good. The social media and webcast updates were on point this year and I know everyone is excited to see how Brett captured this year's amazing event in another recap video.
Congrats guys, thanks for all you do.
On behalf of Team 3044, 0xBE4, I would like to congratulate all of the teams for a great showing at the Tech Valley Regional. We had a lot of high scoring matches and proved what the northeast could really do.
Congratulations to 195, 340 and 4930 for becoming Regional Winners and putting up two amazing scores in the finals.
Congrats to 20, 3624 and 5254 for being Regional Finalists. It was great to see a 5th seeded alliance in the finals.
Now I would like to thank team 1923, the MidKnight Inventors and team 5236, Man O' War Robotics for a great 7th seeded alliance. We worked extremely well together and had a great strategy that put us into the semifinals. Plus, we did very well for a 7th seeded alliance.
I applaud Libby Kamen of Team 1923 for the well deserved Woodie Flowers Finalists Award and Team 250, one of our local teams, for the Team Spirit and Industrial Safety Awards.
I would like to thank all of the referees, judges, the planning committee, the many volunteers, the announcers, and Angry Eric for making this event a success every year.
Good Luck to all of the teams in future competitions this year. We will see many of you at the Finger Lakes Regional next week and hope to see many of you back at TVR next year.

I have to say, primarily going to the NYC regional New York Tech valley was an amazing surprise. The atmosphere was amazing, the arena was filled with lively and incredible teams showing their spirits. I would also like to thank team 20 for making it comfortable for the team from Brooklyn, and making us feel welcomed the way you did. It was a great competition and I hope to see you all next year. Congratulations to all the teams out there on an amazing showing.
Thanks to all who have sent me messages or posted here; I was absolutely floored to have won WFFA. Being nominated by my students was absolutely more than enough. To actually be chosen to win is humbling - I have always had the greatest admiration & respect for those in the WFA/WFFA circle, and it means the world to me to have been picked to join you all. Thank you.

We loved working with you! It's pretty cool to have been selected by the team that, once upon a time, we supported as rookies. Our alliance ran smoothly, and we had a great time hanging out with you all during the afternoon.
Congratulations to all of those who brought home hardware! Across the entire event we were so impressed, by the teams, volunteers, and just our overall experience. This is our first time traveling since 2011, and the students had a fantastic time. Props to all who made TVR happen, for pulling off a welcoming, friendly, and spirited event - The MidKnight Inventors would love to come back anytime.
(even if I am a little biased against the venue as a Clarkson alum. Let's Go Tech!)
The Power Hawks would like to thank everyone for running an amazing regional! This regional was by far one of our favorites, even before Saturday afternoon! Everyone was so kind and helpful, and our students had a wonderful time.
Congratulations to the winners! The matches were quite exciting!
And thank you so much to the judges to award us the Regional Chairman's Award! We were so unbelievably floored to receive it for our first time! In the pits, a few people asked us about our awards documentation, so we've posted it on CD. Check out here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/3119) to read our awards portfolios.
Also, we always love to follow all the teams we met, so check out our Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/powerhawks) and Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/powerhawks1111) and we'll like/follow you back to keep up with you guys!

On behalf of Team 195, I want to thank the Tech Valley Planning Committee, RPI, the volunteers, and all of our fellow teams for making this such an amazing weekend. The venue and event execution were flawless and the CyberKnights truly felt welcome. We can't wait to come back soon!

Correct if I'm wrong, but this Regional win is very sweet indeed for all three teams on the alliance.
One of the sweetest things is that the coach for 4930, as well as myself, are both alumni of 340. I was able to sit next to my sister, a current member of 340, and my mother, a mentor for 340, and cheer on the same alliance. It was an amazing feeling to see the team that I came from working with the team that I am currently mentoring and to be able to see them come out with a win is even better. :D
Being an alum of RPI it was really awesome to have my team there this weekend for the Tech Valley Regional. We really had an awesome time and all the teams put up some fierce competition!
If any teams have any match videos, please post the links
We currently just have a video a team parent took of the last finals match:

Team 20 should have videos of all of the matches. We'll get them uploaded and post the links here as soon as we can, although it might take a while since we're preparing for FLR this week.
Team 1493 had an amazing time at the TVR. It was nice to see all of our offseason work (and advice from 2791) pay off and have the best functioning robot we have ever fielded at an event.
We would like to thank 3003 and 145 for forming a strong alliance. You guys/girls were great to work with and it was really fun bonding over strategy. At most regionals we would have advanced to semifinals but the competition at TVR was really strong. I was impressed with some of the scores that were put up.
I want to thank team 20 for organizing the multi-team scouting and putting it all together for us. It was very useful and helped greatly in selecting our alliance. The job you guys did however at forming the 5th alliance and making it to the finals was truly impressive.
Best of luck to all the Capital Region teams at FLR

Team 195 had an amazing time at Tech Valley and hope to return again in future years.
In addition to Ty's comments above, we'd like to thank our alliance partners Team 340, Greater Rochester Robotics and Team 4930, Electric Mayhem. You were all a pleasure to work with and such gracious alliance partners!
And our hat is off to Teams 20 The Rocketeers, 3624 the Thundercolts and Team 5254 the Robot Raiders for well fought finals matches! You are all awesome! I will say it felt a little strange being on the opposite side of the glass from team 20 having won several banners side by side with them in years past. We love you guys!
Team 303 and 2852, your robots were absolutely amazing! We hope to play with you all on the same side of the glass someday!
Welcome to the 2015 Chairman's club Team 1111!
All our best to ALL the Tech Valley teams for the rest of the season!

We on 2791 had a great time at Tech Valley this year. This event has grown into one of the most well-run regionals I've ever been to, and that's thanks in no small part to the outstanding volunteers this regional attracts. Thank you all for putting this regional together!
I'd like to thank our alliance partners, 870 and 1111, for joining our alliance and putting up the best fight they could in the quarterfinals. We were thrilled that both of your teams were available as the 8th and 9th pick of the draft, having played good qualifying matches with both teams. I can't quite express how disappointed we were to find ourselves immobile in the first match. I personally feel so bad having picked two great teams and not having been able to play to our full potential. On so many alliances your teams would have advanced, so I'm really sorry about that. Thanks for playing your hearts out and being great, cooperative partners.
As always, it's nice to play with old friends, including (but not limited to) 229, 20, 3044, 1493, and 4930, along with some of our pre-district competitors 1923 and 195. Thanks for making it out to Tech Valley. I'd like to thank 20 as well for organizing collaborative scouting again this year - we're spoiled by our continued access to high quality data year after year.
Finally, I'd like to congratulate the winners of Volunteer of the Year award, Brent Brimhall and Nancy Casler. If you're doing something robotics related anywhere in Tech Valley, odds are you've seen Brent with a camera documenting all the magic as it's happening, and the PSA he created for our event was wonderful. Nancy Casler has done so much, not just for the regional but for 2791 as well, that I'm incredibly happy to see her efforts recognized and rewarded. Without her organizational skills and leadership, 2791 today simply would not exist. She's selflessly and tirelessly devoted a huge chunk of her time to both Shaker Robotics and the Tech Valley Regional for the past several years, and I can't thank her enough for the impact she's made.
(even if I am a little biased against the venue as a Clarkson alum. Let's Go Tech!)
It was cute watching Angry Eric each morning. The Star Spangled Banner is always "interesting" at Cornell-Clarkson games. :D
I'll agree with the others, we had a great time at Tech Valley. Thanks to all that made it possible!

A big thanks from 145 to teams 1493 and 3003 for adding us to their alliance. Our scores in the quarters would have moved us on in many other regionals. Proving that the Northeast is one of the most competitive places to play in all of FRC. Congrats to all the winners of all the awards! We were happy to garner a paper plate award for our pit and costumes!! Hope to see you in the Fall at the Robot Rumble.

If there was ever an Imagery Award to be given.... I don't see how it didn't go to 145. Holy Cow.
Take nothing away from 4508 though.
