I love this. Already having those containers possessed to start teleop will be a huge boon.

As usual a very impressive bot built by 2826. Good luck at Wisconsin and North Star!

Oh my Tyler, saying it's impressive is an understatement. And here I thought our humble autonomous program was good. http://youtu.be/CVDlusNzG9k
You guys took it to a whole new level! How high can you stack those RC's?
Can't wait to see it in action.
Congrats!

Nice Job! I like the quick human station stacking as well as the auton.

Good Luck!:)

Congrats!

It seems like they pickup the RC first then they turn it sideways with their pickup mech. After that they start stacking totes underneath the RC via using the tote chute to create a stack underneath the sideways RC. That seems like their robot strategy. From what we've seen from their reveal video it doesn't seem like they have a separate stacking ability to only simply cap stacks with RCs.

Man all these good autos! I'm definitely gonna tune into watching the Wisconsin regional webcast this week cause it looks like it's going to be very competitive.

Thanks for all the compliments. Was definitely a grind this year. But was definitely the most fun build season I've ever had.

The goal of the robot is 28 point auto plus 3x6 stacks with RC and litter.

To answer the question of how high we can place a RC. We can drop the RC from the side onto a stack of 3 maybe 4, with the RC forks in front we can easily set down on 1 tote and probably 2 though we haven't tried.

WOW! You guys really pulled it off. Leave it to WAVE to make a big splash! :)
We will miss competing with you guys at Wisconsin this year. Good luck at your regional.

That is an incredibly efficient strategy and design. Kudos! It looks like the RC's you collect are ready to be used to cap a stack of totes rather than dangling and swinging around like with some of the other teams that collect all six game pieces. Can you put noodles into the RC's when you are carrying all 3?

We put the noodle in just before we leave the chute with a stack of 6. Only 1 RC at a time as we grab the RC with the shuttler 4 bar in the hole in the lid.

Problem is if you aren't on the TetherHypeTrain, you probably just got ran over by it.

Had to laugh when I saw this!

North Star will be our first regional ever and I'm glad we'll be seeing some sweet designs.

Looking very good, guys! Best of luck in Wisconsin this week. We're definitely bummed to have an event conflict this year, because we'd love the chance to team Ms. Stac-Man up with Depthcharge... Hopefully, we'll get the chance in St. Louis. Best of luck, guys!

Only if you could see the cord connecting your second (or third robot)....

Thank you for all the compliments everyone. Wave is very excited to make a big comeback.

In full transparency, right now we are about 75% on doing the 28 point auto. The times that we fail we are still able to get the 20 point tote stack but miss on either the second or third RCs.

This robot is super cool, but someone actually being honest about their auton.. that's unheard of

75% of the time, it works every time. 25% of the time, it only works 70% as good.

Fantastic robot. I hope to see it in person.

With an extremely late (early? 5am) night last night plus practice day on Thursday we expect to be well in the 95+% range of successful 28 point autos.

I think you guys win for coolest mechanism, this thing is awesome!

That switch from 6wd to 4wd, was that a weight thing?

With 6 wheels we were 115 Lbs. The switch was consistency of auto. The rock in the 6 wheel with the violent shift of the RC to the side was causing the robot to turn too much and we were missing the final RC. With out the rock the drive PID is able to keep us driving straight to get all the game pieces.

Really impressive, probably my favorite robot this season. I've always enjoyed seeing what 2826 puts out.

I'd love to get a closer look at that RC pickup system. Hope to get to see it down the road.
