I like the "Niiiiiikolaaaaaa" chant (just like the Ricola commercial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uz_dehG2M8)). It would freak out the other divisions. :-)
We are looking forward to playing with our friends Spectrum, Cryptonite and Blarglefish from Houston as well as making new friends from around the country as well as Quebec.

The Hitchhikers are excited to be a part of the inaugural Tesla (sub)Division! Especially excited to be with two teams we've already had experience working with (and against) -- 1225 and 3824. Looks like this will be a great field to be a part of.

I think our teams may become confused a few times during the competition -- we too collect from the landfill, and have a nearly identical looking team number...

FRC Team 3132 "Thunder Down Under" from Sydney, Australia is gearing up to come "up over" to play in Tesla Division with all these great teams. We're really glad we don't have to go all the way to New Jersey to track down 1403 Cougar Robotics to show them our robot that we couldn't have built before we started hanging out with them.
Best of luck to everyone in Tesla!
Would love to bring some to you guys, but it won't make it pass the border

This is a great idea and 3132 "Thunder Down Under" will definitely participate. However, so that none of our fellow Tesla-ites incur overseas phone charges, we are going to wait until we arrive in USA and get a US-based phone number to share with everyone. It's a bit expensive to be calling our Aussie cell phones, otherwise. I imagine 4481 Rembrandts (from Netherlands) will have a similar issue.

IF this Qualification schedule holds up, I really want to watch match 72. It may end up better than most Elimination Matches with 1025 3824 1658 vs. 340 2481 48
Looks like 48 and 624 have the more favorable schedules with 226, 2054, and 1523 not too bad. Not sure how I feel about 1806 or our schedules. We'll see if these are the final schedules.

Actually, according to Evan Forbes website, we have a negative rank difference, indicating a slightly harder schedule, when compared with teams like 2122 and 1403. Will have to see how the matches play out, but I agree 1806 has a difficult schedule.

Will have to see how the matches play out, but I agree 1806 has a difficult schedule.
Based on predictions, analysis, and several simulations, it does look like we're going to have an uphill battle. The good news for us being that the QA system keeps a strength of schedule gap from being nearly insurmountable.
Regardless, we're looking forward to competing on the Tesla field with 75 other great teams.

Since Evan Forbes updated his website to try to adjust out for teams that had high auto scores and coop scores getting credit for those scores more than once when partnered with alliances who also score in the same way, his max OPR scores for each team are no longer correct, that's why 624 was showing, but no longer is showing a favorable schedule. By Max OPR they would be 4th, but are predicted 2nd for a +2 favorable schedule.

A 2015 Highlights Video of Team 3476, Code Orange, has been posted at:
https://youtu.be/XP7-_XgEfsg
Team 3476, Code Orange, was on the Finalist Alliance at both the Inland Empire and San Diego Regional Competitions. They won both the Engineering Inspiration Award at Inland Empire and the Chairman's Award at San Diego.
At San Diego, Code Orange was the #1 Pick by the #1 Alliance Captain, Team 1538, Holy Cows. Team 3476 had the most Tote points at 414. Team 1538 had the most RC points with 528 and 3476 had 524 in 10 matches.

We are waiting to see. This game has thrown everything into disarray from one vent to another. Heck in Windsor we went into Alliance selection with 2 traction/2 omni wheels and by time alliance selection was over we had 4 omni's.
I would say that a lot of bots will have some new toys and abilities we haven't see so far.

FIRST has posted the Tesla Match Schedule at their Web Site.
The Spyder app has also posted the Tesla Schedule.
Both are the same as the Preliminary Schedule.
We noticed there were 2 pits with unopened crates but no people.
Might want to double check that your alliance partners get through inspection and are ready for their match.

after the first day of quals, I really liked how the top teams are so close to each other. There is no way to predict who will end up in first place, and matches are very exciting (we had a 228 to 220 match) There is so many good stackers in here, and any of them could make it to Einstein.
We're all hyped for tomorrow!

Well that was a heckuva lot of fun! 3824 had a blast playing with all of the teams on Tesla and making so many new friends. Congrats to Thunder Down Under and the entire winning alliance - and best of luck on Einstein!!

Thanks to everybody on Tesla for a fun weekend of robots. Glad to see a lot of old friends and make new ones.
Thanks especially to 2481 and 624 for picking us to be on your alliance.
We recorded most of the matches on Tesla and should be getting them put on YouTube through out the week.

Lead queuing on Telsa (and Einstein "Mass") was a blast! Thanks to the teams for making this job easy for the Tesla crew. Without your help I would have had to watch Einstein from the stands instead of 10 feet away from the field:)

Thanks to Team Tators 2122 for picking us!
It was a lot of fun. Too bad elims didn't go as well as our last qualification match!
First off, huge congrats to the well deserving Tesla division winners 3132, 3476, 1255, and 2526! You guys were the survivors of a 8 alliance war of robotic attrition. Great job by great teams filled with great people. It was an honor to share the field with each of you and we look forward to the chances to do it again in the future.
Also, massive thanks go out to our great alliance partners from 624, 3847, and 2930. All of you guys were awesome to work with and it's just a shame we couldn't have survived past quarters to get 3847 a chance to get on the field with us, freshly cheesecaked, and ready to collectively assasinate all 4 of those cans. Outstanding effort from everyone.
2930, you were amazing in your relief role and supported us while we worked to get Spectrum ready for late round action. Great job helping snag that crucial 3rd can in autonomous and playing critical support for the alliance. Awesome job!
3847, huge thanks to you guys for being so willing and able with the cheesecake assist. We were fighting like crazy to give you guys the time needed to eventually get on the field with us. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out how we planned, but it was an honor to work with you guys. We can't thank you enough for your professionalism and willingness to do whatever it took to help the alliance. It was great to play with you guys in week 2 while you were doing a completely voluntary robot rebuild in Arkansas, and even better to play with you guys at champs so many weeks later. Hope to get that same chance at many events in years to come!
624, you guys are an amazing team with an amazing machine and it was just a shame the mechanical gremlins decided to show their wicked faces when they did. The collaborative effort in building our alliance was awesome and it would have been great to see how we would have collectively fared against the best on the biggest stage. We look forward to playing with you guys in the future and hope we get the opportunity to do so as soon as IRI in a few months. Thanks, guys! It was an honor.

Thanks for doing this. Now I can watch Match #72 over and over. :]
I am still unwinding from an amazing weekend.
We would like to thank 2170, 2054 and 706 for giving us a rare opportunity to work with such capable alliance mates. We hope to meet up with you all again.
Congratulations to 3132, 3476, 1255 and 2526 for winning the Division and representing Tesla on Einstein. It was inspiring to see how the Australian teams achieve such high levels of excellence while facing their supply chain and travel challenges make our challenges. We look forward to hearing more Thunder at Championship in the future.
We were also very happy that all the other Houston area teams in the Tesla Division (624, 1255 and 3847) made it to eliminations. Cryptonite and Spectrum worked hard to overcome technical difficulties to improve their performance steadily throughout the weekend. Congratulations to Blarglefish for making it two Houston area teams on Einstein and for giving out really useful swag.
Kudos to the members of 2613, our pit neighbors. The members of their small team worked cheerfully and persistently to make improvements to their robot and overcome significant technical challenges. We hope to see you at events in Texas and at Championship again in the future.
Last but not least, I would like to thank 2481 and 2122 for being so generous with your time and knowledge, answering the multitude of questions from me and my team. You used your world-class robots to help us understand what we need to do to move on to a higher level of play.

I'll second this, you guys made a great alliance. Thanks to all that made Tesla a fun sub-division. 340 had a great time. We would like to thank 1658, 319 and 1502 for joining our alliance. We hoped to take the 8th seed to the finals. Maybe next year. Congrats to the winners and finalists.

Tesla had one of the most balanced and deep fields at Worlds. We had fun working with all the teams and want to thank everyone for making our team's first trip to the Championship Event a joy for us to attend. It was great experience for 2930 to get to meet all of the World-Class caliber teams at the event.
The Sonic Squirrels want to thank our alliance partners 2481, 624, and 3847 for selecting us in the playoffs. We were also disappointed to not see Spectrum get a chance to show off their canburglar skills.
On a personal note, I want to give a shout out to 1511 on Carson. I really enjoyed talking to their mentors and was impressed with their program.

All the Tesla matches we have should now be on the playlist. We missed a few qual matches but we have all of the playoffs. We have Einstein video and some ceremony video that we haven't labeled yet.
If people can help out and link all the videos to the Blue Alliance that would be a big help.

G'day Tesla!
Apologies for the late reply, but it has taken us a little while to get back home to the other side of the world....and to get over the worst of the resulting colds and sore throats.
As an international team we want to thank everyone on Tesla for the warm welcome and offers of help with tools, parts, and batteries. The teams in our general pit area, like Blaze, Discobots, Lake Monsters, and everyone else were just outstanding and patient with us...thank you! 1403 "Cougar Robotics" was amazing with their supply of tools, vacuum, batteries, and other parts...not to mention moral support! We also are grateful for Tesla taking home the majority of our koala give-aways since taking them home would have been extremely awkward.
For years to come, all 76 team can each say that we were on Tesla the first year it existed. There were so many great teams and alliances throughout the event which achieved a high level of competition throughout CMP.
We were shocked and humbled to win EI for the Archimedes-Tesla Division given so many teams impacting their communities.
3132 is totally indebted to 3476, 1255, and 2526 for joining us on the 2nd seeded alliance. We got to see first hand all the best in FRC teams at work in how the alliance came together and made a much better unit than perhaps the qualification numbers would have suggested. The drivers, operators, human players, pit crews, and drive coaches were just fantastic.
To one and all, congratulations on playing on Tesla at 2015 Championships and we wish you all the best in the future. Good on ya, mates!

Thanks for all of the videos! I am linking them in The Blue Alliance as I type, It may take a few days for them to process. Team 319 had a great time and were impressed with the quality of all of the Robotics Teams in Tesla Division as well as the Gracious professionalism of all the students and mentors! See you all next year!
On behalf of Team 2399, it was a pleasure playing with you all! We were honoured to play in the inaugural Tesla division and hope that we will see all of you again!

I know I am really late to this party, but kept pushing this off.
I want to first off thank everyone we played with and everyone in the inaugural tesla division. I also want to thank the volunteers on our field they were a fun group to work with and pleasure meeting some of you. This competition really put things into place about how much this program changes lives.
Now i want to thank and congratulate our sister team FRC 3132 Thunder down under. For helping us break our goal of 200 points in a match. As well as winning the division as captains and EI. Your team keeps inspiring us to do more and another reason to make it back to worlds next year.
I want to thank team 2959, 226, and 48. for selecting us. This was the first time making to elims since our rookie year in 2004.
I want to thank team spectrum for recording the matches including match 124 where we got to play with our sister team.
Regards,
