Hello all

I am now doing the programming of our tote bot, and during testing today, I found that the c-rio would not accept the code, and reported back this message that says something along the lines of " error, this version of labview on the host computer is not the same as the version on the target""update using MAX"

What does this mean? I'm not a full blooded programmer, as they say, I'm good at everything, and a master at nothing. So I have no clue how to fix it. I understand what it means. am I just doing something wrong?

Specifics
Deploying code over wireless link
Using a old CRio, four slot
Connected to digital sidecar and pdb( blue, old type)
Radio connected via 5v converter.
Sidecar connected via flat ribbon cable, slot 2 on CRio
When first powered on, found that there is in fact code already on the CRio ( probably code from 2012, that's the last time this CRio was used ) and the rio still responds to driver station commands, evident by victor motor controllers functioning.
No flash on the connected RSL, on the sidecar.

So, what's wrong here? The RSL doesn't work,it won't let me deploy code, but it still works with the code that's on it already

It means that the image currently on the cRIO is based on a different version of LabVIEW than the code you are building on your PC.

Check the version on the cRIO using the Imaging tool, and compare it to the latest cRIO image installed on your PC (listed in the Imaging tool for optional imaging).
